Hari Prabhu Sanstha donates two wheel chairs

JAMMU, Nov 9:Hari Prabhu Sanstha donated two wheel chairs to physically handicapped and disabled youth, one of them is totally blind and other is mentally retarded as well as polio patient.
Santha has so far donated 6 wheel chairs during this year, out of which 4 are school going disabled students.
The poor & disabled students whom wheel chairs have been donated will facilitate them to attend their schools smoothly and regularly.
On this day, Sanstha also provided financial support for the marriage of 6 poor and orphan girls by providing them Ration, clothes, utensils, trunk etc.
Besides this, family kits of woollen clothes containing blankets, sweaters gloves, socks and caps received from Indian Red Cross Society, Regional office, Jammu were also distributed among 40 BPL families of different villages Bhaddu, Ramkot, Galak, Gurah, Kohag and Mandli.
President of Sanstha, SC Gupta thanked Anil Padha, Honorary Secretary IRCS for arranging relief material for the poor and needy people in remote and rural areas every year during winter.
Meanwhile, Sanstha also organised a day long free medical check up camp at Hari Prabhu Ashray, Nagrota Gujroo (Billawar)
Dr C D Gupta, a renowned cardiologist from Jammu provided medical consultation to the patients.
During the camp, 85 heart and other serious patients were checked up who were given free medicines also.
The poor and needy patients who were benefited by this camp belonged to remote & hilly villages of different Tehsils of Billawar, Basholi and Ram Nagar.
Besides holding Medical Camp, Dr CD Gupta also released a book titled Anmol Vachan authored by KL Gupta of Kahog.
While releasing the book, Dr C D Gupta suggested that this book of 95 pages which contains teachings on spirituality should be translated into Dogri and English because teachings contained in the book are very useful for leading moral and peaceful life.
