Jammu, Nov 9: Saifuddin Soz MP (former Union Minister) & president J&K Pradesh Congress Committee has expressed his deepest anguish at the sad demise of Mir Syed Hussain former chairman of J&K Legislative Council.
The passing away of Mir Syed Hussain marks the end of an era in Kashmir history.
Syed Hussain was an embodiment of virtual and living example of what is best in the culture of Kashmir. He was a classic example of sobriety, scholarship and a dignified humility, Soz said
He will be remembered for a long in Kashmir for qualities of head and heart.
Mir Syed Hussain Sahib elder brother of late Syed Mir Qasim behaved through his political life as if he was younger to Syed Mir Qasim Sahib.
Syed Hussain Sahib once told me in presence of Syed Mir Qaqsim that during his entire political career he had treated him (Syed Mir Qasim) as his elder brother and it was because he (Syed Mir Qasim Sahib) had proved his qualities of leadership. That was the level of Syed Hussain Sahib’s humility. My feeling is that Kashmir has lost a loyal son withy noble soul, expressed Soz.
