Pahari tribals to hold protest

Most suffring and struggling and agitating Pahari speaking community of the state, organized one day convention in Rajouri in which representatives and office bearer of the state Pahari forum participated, in which it was unanimously decided to hold one day peaceful protest demonstration for rational and reasonable right of confiring

scheduled tribe status on the ethenic group of Pahari speaking people loiving closed

to LOC in rajouri/ poonch uri keran kernah and tang dar these Pahari people have

become victim and most sufferer during 15 years p-roxy war and three indo-pak wars

and also been facing lot of discrimination and irrational treatment meted out5 with

them by all the successive govts. Our the years and on the other hand these Pahari

people have also become the victim of in recent drastic earth quak. In this

connection state Pahari forum were unanimous to hold one day protest

demonstration and rallies at all the District and Teshil headquarters of the state in

this conection.Emergent meeting in both the boarder District of Rajouri and Poonch

held under the chairmanship of Aslam Mirza and Kamal Jeet SINGH BOTH District

presidents of Rajouri/ Poonch Pahari forum.Mr. M.A. Sagar and Mr. Shahbaz Khan

provincial Gen. Sec. and sate co-ordinator appealed to the Pahari tribal speaking to

join there heads and hands to fight unitedly for the most burning and last pending

demands of the Pahari community Mr. Shahbaz Khan said that Pahari community is

prepared for election by – cott, if Govt. failed to grant ST-Status before ensuing

election Mr. Khan appealed to the youth to fight and struggle for their legitimate

right because struggle is ultimate solution to every problem and no body on earth can

stop us to do so Mr. Khan said that Pahari communtoty particularly Pahari youth and

employ have suffered a lot they could not suffer any more and any delay on the part

Govt. can force the frustrated and agitated youth to come out in Streets for their

gennine rights these un employed youth who are the most suffer and discriminated

in all sphere of life can be mis used and mis led by the anti-national and anti social

element.
