NCSU turns Gov't s stooge; praises New Recruitment Policy | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 9: Toeing the line of parent body National Conference, the National Conference Students Union (NCSU) has termed the new recruitment policy introduced by the State Government. NCSU, which has least of popularity and acceptability among the youth of Jammu Kashmir, has showed its true color on Wednesday. It's no hidden fact that NCSU is 'stooge' of the NC. That's why it came out with words of praise for the new recruitment policy and the dynamic Chief Minister.
In its meeting held here today under the chairmanship of Rahul Sharma, President, NCSU alleged that BJP and Panthers Party were misguiding the youth of the state and spreading false canards about the recruitment policy for their own political benefits. This allegation needs correction. It's a movement of the youth for the youth. The same can be checked from newspaper reports. It would be insult to call this students' movement as politically motivated movement.
Further, "Rahul Sharma said that the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has clarified that the government is facing a financial crunch and was advised to place a ban on recruitment for two years which was not acceptable to him (the Chief Minister) and his government and thereby the government took an innovative decision to engage the people on permanent basis to be initially on stipend to ensure that the employment opportunities do not freeze." Again, it is to be asked from Sharma that why he toeing the line of his party. Was he there in the Cabinet Meeting that discussed the modalities of new recruitment policy. Or, whether he was the part of policy drafting team.
