| Septuagenarian injured when trapped in Omar's cavalcade | | | Jammu: A septuagenarian got injured when he 'accidentally' got trapped in Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister's cavalcade in this winter capital of the state, sources here today said.
'Identified as Prakash Singh (70), resident of Ashok Nagar, Satwari sustained minor injuries, when he 'accidentally' got trapped in Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's cavalcade this morning at Gandhi Nagar locality while he was crossing the road,'' sources told.
Sources said that the incident occurred when chief minister was traveling in one of the vehicles when the mishap took place but he stopped on the spot.
"However on the directions of the Chief Minister, the injured man was immediately shifted to the Government Medical Hospital, Gandhi Nagar," they added. |
