MAM College organises symposium on education day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 11:The IQAC of Govt. MAM College Jammu organized an on the spot symposium to mark National Education Day celebrations. The topic for the symposium was ‘Maulana Abul Kalam Azad’s Vision of an Educated India’. Prof Ajeet Angral, Principal of the college was the chief Guest on the occasion. He deliberated on the contribution of Azad to the education foundation of India not only as an enlightened and wise scholar but also as a truthful and fearless freedom fighter. Dr Twinkle Suri, Coordinator IQAC in her welcome address exhorted the students to imbibe and practice the gospels of Azad for the integrity of education in India. Prof Banpreet Kour and Prof Harpeet Kour were also present on the occasion amidst an active participation from the students. The panel of judges included Prof Kailash Mehra and Prof Rama Badyal. Anshul Gupta, Sanchit Verma and Karan Singh bagged the first, second and third prizes. The proceedings were anchored by Anshul Gupta and the formal vote of thanks was given by Prof Shalini Sharma.
