BMM alleges discrimination with SCs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT KATHUA, Nov 11:The patron of Bharat Mukti Morcha (BMM) Ex- MLC Chuni Lal Dhiman today alleged that SC community is being discriminated by the state government and termed it as a condemnable act. Addressing a press conference here today, Dhiman urged the SC/OBC Commission to take necessary actions regarding the discriminatory policies of state Govt against the SCs. Chuni Lal said that in the advertisement notice no. of 2010 dated 12-11-2010 applications from eligible candidates for the posts of teachers and account assistants were invited and in the same advertisement it has been mentioned that candidates belonging to SC category can apply in any district of the state and this has been made clear earlier by the government. He said meanwhile the interviews for the posts of teachers and account assistants were conducted according to inter district recruitment policy for SC category. However, JK ST Forum took stay against this policy and demanded inter-district recruitment for ST category too. The court then stayed the list of candidates belonging to the said category. The BMM leader urged the coalition government to provide an opportunity to SCs to serve in any of the districts for districts cadre posts.
