jammu, Nov 11: Following the stand of parent body i.e. the National Conference, the student wing of the party the National Conference Students Union (NCSU) has appreciated the new recruitment policy introduced by the State Government and termed it an innovative decision to engage the people in employment without freezing the same owning to financial crunch.
Politically motivated brains finally have succeeded to implement the conventional policy of 'divide and rule' and thus when all students were protesting jointly against the controversial recruitment policy of the NC led coalition government, the NCSU isolates itself from the cause of the students. To a sharp contrast it has started showering appreciation upon the party leaders particularly the chief minister Omar Abdullah. Student organizations though are not depended of the lesser known National Conference Student Union but question the credibility of the student leaders who are managing the affairs of the NCSU who are going totally against the present wind i.e. the protest against new recruitment policy being branded as playing with the future of the youth by various student organizations.
Need not to mention the NCSU, which has least of popularity and acceptability among the youth of Jammu Kashmir, has showed its true color on Wednesday when it turns a government 'stooge' and came with words of praise for the new recruitment policy and the dynamic Chief Minister who brain child the said scheme.
Rahul Sharma, President, NCSU alleged that BJP and Panthers Party were misguiding the youth of the state and spreading false canards about the recruitment policy for their own political benefits. Further, Rahul Sharma said that the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has clarified that the government is facing a financial crunch and was advised to place a ban on recruitment for two years which was not acceptable to him (the Chief Minister) and his government and thereby the government took an innovative decision to engage the people on permanent basis to be initially on stipend to ensure that the employment opportunities do not freeze.
National Conference Student Union (NCSU) today also held a meeting at University of Jammu under the Chairmanship of Yassir Farooq Khan Secretary NCSU in which Yassir briefed the students about the new recruitment rules.
In a veiled attack on other student wings protesting against the new recruitment policy, Khan said that 'issueless politically affiliated organization and so called student's leaders misguiding and exploiting the innocent students for their political gains.
How the NCSU leaders claim the new policy is good, reasons well known to them only but the statements pouring from the NCSU leaders convey that they are aimless and are just toeing the lines of the party leaders intentionally.
