| Power shut down | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, NOVEMBER 12-In order to carryout the work of replacement of cross arms of the transmission line, the power supply to the area being fed from 132/33 KV Grid Station, Draba i.e district Poonch line shall be affected on November 12 and 13, 2011 from 0800 hours to 1700 hours.
Meanwhile, in order to carry-out the work of replacement of old damaged conductor and re-stringing of new conductor in between Bari-Brahamna-II to Samba section at location number 47 to 51 of 2nd circuit. The shutdown of 132 KV D/C Gladni-Bari-Brahamna-II transmission line shall remain affected on November 14 to 18, 2011 from 0800 hours to 1700 hours.
As intimated by Chief Engineer, Wing Jammu the power supply to Bari-Brahamna-II Grid Station shall be fed from Gladni end and Samba Grid Station from Hiranagar end.
Hence during the period of shutdown, the power supply shall not be affected to nay of the area.
