| Governor visits Army Exhibition | | |
JAMMU, JANUARY 07
Governor Lt. Gen. (Retd.) S. K. Sinha today visited
Army Exhibition ‘know your Army’ at Satwari near here.
Thousands of the people visited exhibition today and showed great interest in these
included high and medium weaponry, anti-insurgency gadgets and latest
communication equipment kept in the exhibition.
GoC Maj Gen Sanjiv Lumba and officers of various ranks gave briefing to governor
on the weapons and gadgets put on display.
Gen Sinha also went round the photo exhibition highlighting Army’s role in civic
action programme particularly empowerment of women and education of children.
He also witnessed a sports event by jawans on the occasion.
