HSS stages protest, condemn killing of Hindus in Pak | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov12: Hindustan Shiv Sena(HSS) staged demonstration and protested against the atrocities on minorities in Pakistan where three persons of Hindu community were gunned down on Eid in the southern province of Sind near Shikarpur. After observing silence of two minutes in the memory of victims named Dr Ajit Kumar, Naresh Kumar, Ashok Kumar and prayed for speedy recovery of Dr Sirtapal who was badly injured during firing and struggling for life in ICU in Karachi hospital. Workers of HSS protest was lead by Dimpy Kohli National President and raised slogans against Pakistan. HSS actvists also burnt the flag of Pakistan. While taking to media persons President HSS blamed Pakistan police who is patronizing the criminals. One of the members of Pakistan Hindu Council alleged that minority communities in Pakistan are living under fear and threat. There are frequent attacks against minorities in Pakistan and people are living under uncertain atmosphere. Dimpy Kohli further said that Hindus and Sikhs living in Pakistan cannot perform their religious activities freely and religious places are in dilapidated conditions. HSS leaders appealed to Govt. of India and Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh to take up the matter with prime minister of Pakistan for the safety of minorities. These massacres should be condemned forcefully and it is against the agreement of Nehru-Liaqat Ali accord wherein security and safety of minorities of two countries is guaranteed. Others who participated in the demonstration are Vipin Hindu, Rakesh Kak, Nathpal Chowdhry, Ashwani Gupta, Jatinder Kohli, Satish Sawhney, Rohit Sharma.
