Hindu Board for improved conditions of Purmandal temples | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 12:International Hindu Personnel Law Board has urged the government to improve the condition of Purmandal Temple as it is one of the most significant religious destinations of Hindus from times immemorial. This demand was raised during a meeting of the Board was held under the chairmanship of President Romesh Gupta and Women Wing President Santosh Mehta. Members of Board visited few religious sights to draw attention of the govt, to improve the condition of Purmandal temple and its surroundings keeping in view the fact that these religious places are visited by thousands of devotees during Shiv Ratri, Choudas and Poornimas in different months to take dip in the holy waters of ‘Gupt Ganga’. The members also condemned the hike in petrol prices besides other commodities of day to day utility which have adversely affected the life of each and every citizen of India. The Presidents Romesh Gupta and Santosh Mehta besides other members of organization urged the members to work for social cause and strengthen the movement. The meeting was also attended by Janki Maini General Secretary Lady Wing, Vishu Vaid Secretary, Radha Sharma Joint Secretary, Amita Ghai Joint Secretary and Geeta Mehra Publicity Secretary
