District Administration, Kishtwar conducted anti- encroachment drive | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 12:As per the instruction of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, team of District Administration led by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kishtwar Rajesh Kumar Shavan along with Executive Officer. Municipal Committee Kishtwar conducted an anti-encroachment drive on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar. SHO Police Station Kishtwar and others during day long encroachment drive removed encroachments from roads and footpaths. While divulging the details ACR Kishtwar Rajesh Kumar Shavan said that after continuous drum beating and announcement from police mobile van urging the shopkeepers and vendors not to encroach the roads and foot paths used by the general public. Shavan said that after announcement and drum beats, the District administration starts encroachment drive from Bus Stand to Dak Banglow and seized large number of material including Shopkeepers boards. Savan said that the drive will remain continue tomorrow as well. He said that District Administration strictly warns all the violators and said that after charging nominal fine, all the seized material will be released in favour of the owners. He said that repeated violators will be punished will heavy fines including the cancellation of the license of the shops. He hoped that shopkeepers of Kishtwar District will cooperate with the administration. General public of Kishtwar high appreciated the role of District Administration Kishtwar and termed the action taken by the District Administration as people friendly.
