| 17th Sr. National Amateur Circle Kabaddi Concludes | | Haryana wins overall trophy | |

Haryana lifted the overall trophy of 17th senior National Amateur Circle Style Kabaddi being played at Mini Stadium, Parade Ground here today.
Haryana outplayed their opponents and clinched the Sr. National men and women trophy in final. In men section Haryana defeated Chandigarh by 49-40 points whereas in women section Haryana registered their victory over Chandigarh by 38-21 points.
In the semifinal match, who was played earlier, Haryana thrashed Rajasthan by 19-08 points whereas Chandigarh outplayed J&K by 49-37 in the keenly contested match. In women’s semis, Haryana defeated Madhya Pradesh by 24-14 points. The other semifinal was played between J&K and Chandigarh in which Chandigarh registered their victory by 27-15 points.
Jammu and Kashmir clinched the third spot in both the sections. Jugal Kishore, Minister of Rural Development was the Chief Guest in the concluding Session; Naveen Aggarwal (IGP) presided over the prize-distributed ceremony. While speaking on the occasion, Jugal Kishore appreciated the efforts of the organizers for organizing National level event here. He distributed the winner and runner-up trophies to the champions. Others who were present include, Inder Jeet Khajuria, Prithvi Raj Sharma, Dushyant Sharma, Narinder Singh, Bansi Lal, Ved Sharma and officials. The matches were officiated by Avtar Singh, Kulvinder Singh, Karan Vir Singh, Awdesh Mishra, Satvir Sharma, Kulvir Singh, Samroli was the commentator.
