Hails Indo-Pak dialogue | Sagar talks peace……..! | | early times report Srinagar, Nov 12: The Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Ali Muhammad Sagar today hailed India and Pakistan for taking forward the dialogue process. He was addressing his workers at the Nawai Subha Complex here today. Sagar said that we have been advocating the process of holding dialogue between the two countries from the day one. There is no denying the fact that National Conference started talking about dialogue during last year's agitation. The former Chief Minister and NC patron, Dr Farooq Abdullah never advocated dialogue during his tenure. He always urged New Delhi to bomb `terrorist camps' in Muzaffarabad. Every day he would fire `paper rockets' towards Pakistan. Fortunately nobody in New Delhi and Islamabad took him seriously and the sub-continent fortunately did not witness another war. Farooq changed his tone after 2008 Assembly Elections. He thanked Hizbul Mujahideen and Pakistan for allowing a peaceful election. Again nobody took note of the statement, not even the armed forces who hadput in strenuous efforts to ensure peace during the elections.
