| 5 arrested, sex racket busted in Bari Brahmna | | | Jammu: Police today claimed to have busted a sex racket and arrested five persons, including three women from a residential house at Bari Brahmana.
Police said that the arrested have been identified namely as Reeta Devi wife of Ashok Kumar of Teli Basti, Sapna Devi widow of Bodh Raj, Sonia wife of Rakesh Kumar of Chak Majra, Varinder Singh son of Bachitter Singh of Jallo Chak, and Sandeep Singh son of Rakesh Singh of Raya Suchani.
"Acting on a tip from reliable source, a police team from Bari Brahmana Police Station conducted raid at the residence of Ashok Kumar of Tali Basti, police said.
During the raid, police apprehended three women and two youth from the house and took them to the concerned police station for legal action against them under Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act. |
