Luring weaklings won't help to NCSU | | | Jammu: Condemning the JURSEA leader Rakesh Chib for joining the National Conference Students Union (NCSU), many student leaders observed that luring some 'weaklings' from within the society the NCSU may not be able to get public support for carrying forward its anti people policies. Students' leaders reminded that the party leaders especially the Omar Abdullah had always created division for political vested interests within the composite cultural society of the state. "Be it the Amarnath Land Row when Omar at the floor of the Parliament said "Ek Inch Zameen Nahi Denge' or be it the challenge to the annexation of J&K to the rest of India or the new recruitment policy or raising voice against armed forces," an irked student leader said further adding that all this has reflected that National Conference has always tried to see through its political advantage. Another student recalling from past said, "Party leadership had even criticized Monarch of the state during assembly polls at Samba which had declined its voters in the Samba and others district of Jammu province where Monarch is still regarded with reverence. Other leaders underlined that the party which is encouraging the separatists' voice and anti army campaign by propagating removal of AFSPA from state is not risking the nationalists forces but also is helping the anti national elements in a view to get an edge over its arch rival PDP in the valley. |
