Jammu 13 Nov: Institute of Music and Fine Arts Alumni demand immediate dissolution central committee of cultural Academy, it is only of the ex-employee committee, which is promoted and adjusting their kith and kin in the Academy.
Central Committee members are having only agenda “Make the hay while sunshine” by adjusting their house hold servants with the help of secretary.
Artists community of Art and culture having international and national repute are debarred from this, only persons having political support can become the central committee members Government spending crores of rupees for the promotion of Art and culture in the State, but these retirees members are busy in taking T.A./D.A. and in the parties.
Ashwani Sharma president IMFAA said all the members of central committee should be elected from the artist community so that a genuine representer can present genuine demands and problem of the artists with the president of Academy.
Manisha Sharma demanded that Government should not give extension to the present corrupt secretary, who has promoted his own kith and kins and absorbed the sons and daughters of sycophants with the coterie of additional secretaries.
He also demanded to initiate an independent enquiry in the bungling and backdoor appointments from 2006 to till date.
