| Legal awareness camp held at Majalta | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, November 13 : In connection with the National Legal Literacy day celebrations, Tehsil Legal Services Majalta organized a legal awareness camp in the court premises in which a large number of locals and litigants participated .
Preet Simran Kour Munsiff (JMIC) , who also happened to be Chairman, Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Majalta , made the people aware about the legal aid being provided to the poor people. She called for mediation and conciliation for settling the disputes and also called upon the people to take recourse to Lok Adalats.
She made the participants aware about various Acts and Schemes launched by the Government for the farewell of public. He urged the people to avail benefits of the schemes. He threw light on all aspects of Legal Service, Human Rights and Lok Adalats and appealed the public to come forward and take the benefits of Lok Adalats, NREGA and Legal Services. She added that the next Lok Adalat will be held on 18th of Nov in court complex Majalta and people can approach to settle their disputes in this.
