| Pay Commission reports need to implemented simultaneously: NMC | | |

Jammu NOV 13: Referring to the need for formulating a National Pay policy, President of the National Mazdoor Conference Subash Shastri said that any pay commission set up by the Central Govt in future should cover both Central and the States Governments employees so that its recommendations are implemented simultaneously through out the country to avoid any confrontation or agitation in any state.
Addressing NMC workers rally at Park today, Shastri said that he would take up 'this issue with Prime Minister, Finance Minister and Dy Chairman of the Planning Commission during his visit to New Delhi next month.
Pleading the cause of State Government employees and pensioners Shastri has also appealed the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to release the pending Installment of 7% DA due from July last in favour of its employees and pensioners as the same have already been released by the various State Governments since long. He raised the issues including Grant of disturbed area allowance on the pattern of north eastern state in favor of both central and state government employees, release of wages of motivators working in the IWDP project Akhnoor,
