| 5 Questions | | | JAMMU | JAN 8 MLA, member of legislative assembly Langate, Sahrief-Ud-Din-Shariq of National Conference on the first day of Budget Session in a brief interaction with ‘Early Times’ correspondent in the lawns of assembly said, calling of budget session earlier, is best to the coalition govt., but the funds will be allotted by the centre govt. after competition of present financial year. E.T: What is your reaction on the budget session? Shariq: I represent main opposition party i.e. National Conference, as a member of opposition party it is my format duty to highlight the problems being faced by common person. As far as this session is concerned, I hope for healthy discussion on all issues.
E.T: Budget session has been called earlier, your reaction? Sahriq : Yes, session has been called about two months earlier reasons are best know to the coalition Government, this will next make any difference, as centre Govt. will a lot funds after the completion of the present financial year.
E.T: What is your opinion about the entry of two MLA’s is assembly involved in Sex Scandal? Shariq: One fails to understand how these MLA’s have been allowed by the speaker to enter this August house, which have brought bad name to the institution.
E.T: Why don’t you raise objection? Shariq: Not today but tomorrow my party will oppose tooth and nail about their entry in the house. We as a responsible opposition are against in the interrupting the governors address. These tainted legislators have no locus-standi to sit in the house.
E.T: What will be NCs’ role during current session? Shariq: NC will oppose all anti people policies which include Roshni Act and delimitation commission-bill tooth and nail. Beside we want to get clarification from the Govt., why correct and up to data list of persons belonging to below poverty line (BPL) has not issued, beside why the farmers whose hours and crops were damaged/destroyed due to flood and rains have net been paid any relief so for.
