| Irked over ‘Rec policy,’ SDSS burns Omar’s effigy | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua Nov 14: Jammu and Kashmir Sarv Dharam Seva Samiti (SDSS) today staged a protest against ‘fresh recruitment policy’ at Kathua and burnt the effigy of the Chief Minister Omar Abdulla to give vent to their resentment.
Speaking on the occasion the general secretary of the Samiti criticised the Chief minister Omar for imposing a recruitment rule which has posed a major threat to the existence of the youth of the state. He said this is unbearable and unacceptable even dangerous for both political leaders who are in powers and common man of the state as new policy would result into more corruption and even can alienate them from peace to violence.
