| Apple Kids celebrates Children’s Day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 14: Apple Kids International Pre-School at Chinore in Bantalab today celebrated Children’s Day with enthusiasm in a special function organised at the school premises, here.
Young students paid tributes to Pt. Nehru by taking part in a fancy dress competition and recalling his services for the nation.
The topic of fancy dress competition was “Famous Personalities” like Subhash Chander Bose and Lal Bahadur Shastri. Since the day was dedicated to a great personality, whose love for children was unparallel, young students enjoyed their stay in the school by dancing on the tunes of music.
Later, Principal of the School, Puja Sharma distributed sweets among students and presented a brief note on importance of the Children’s Day.
In Fancy Dress competition, Akhilesh Sharma bagged first prize while Master Abhinav and Pranav Mengi declared second and third respectively.
