| JKNPP-NPSU seek details of merit list of J&K bank selection | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Nov 14: Demanding details of merit and other credentials of selection process, the activists of JKNPP & NPSU today held a protest outside the J&K Bank Zonal, Office Jammu in protest against the discriminatory treatment doled out to Jammu region youth in the matter of selections for various posts in J&K Bank.
The protesting youth alleged large scale irregularities and fraud being committed by the J&K Bank in making selection at various level including financial Executives, Banking associates, clerk and class IV. Seeking the publication of the merit lists and detailed particulars of the selected candidates for banking associated and clerks, they said that it was essential to clear the doubts and apprehensions n the minds of Jammu people as well. They also demanded a probe into all selection made by the J&K bank during the last four five years.
They said transparency and fear play demanded that the J&K bank released the final selection lists as is the case with other selection. They further maintained that the J&K bank cannot violate the norms and selection processor envisaged under law and the constitutional guarantees available to the citizen of the state. They called immediate publication of the selection lists along with their residential particulars in the interest of transparency and fair play. They called upon the state finical minister to ordered a through prove into the whole gamut of selection as well as the working of the J&K bank and bring forth the factual position to the notice of the general public. Protestors said that the issue would be vigorously agitated in the ensuing session of legislative assembly.
Prominent leaders of NPP & NPSU who participated and addressed the demonstration included Faqir Nath Ex-MLA, S Daljit Singh, Partap Singh and etc.
