2 arrested, 'Katra Blind murder case worked out: Police | Suspicion about illicit relations root cause | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 14: Katra police claimed to have worked out blind murder case of a Katra based shopkeeper with the arrest of key accused an employee of the deceased shopkeeper and his brother in law. According to police a missing report regarding one Surinder Kumar son of Garib Dass of Kangli, Reasi was lodged with the Katra police 2 months ago. And taking cognizance police questioned some suspects including the employees of the shopkeeper. And during the sustained questioning the employee of the shopkeeper broke down and confessed his crime that becoming suspicious of an illicit relations with his kin he hatched conspiracy to eliminate his employer. Superintendent of Police (SP) Katra Mohan Lal when contacted told that police has resolved the blind murder case with the arrest of one of the employees of the shop. He said that on suspicious ground police arrested Sanjay Kumar son of Rattan Lal of Keri Teryal, an employee of the deceased shopkeeper who confessed his crime. During the interrogation the accused, revealed the police that Surinder, who was frequent at his residence in Reasi, had developed illicit relation with his sister in law. The duo then hatched a plan to eliminate Surinder and on one day he and his brother in law Subash Chander son of Krishan Lal of Tralu pounced upon him and killed him with sharp edged weapon. Thereafter they buried him in some area of Kalakote. On his disclosure, police conducted raid at his brother in law's residence and arrested him. Police also recovered body of the deceased and weapon of offence. |
