| Parade College organizes workshop for young investors | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 15: Career counseling and placement cell of Government College for Women (GCW) Parade in collaboration with securities and exchange board of India (SEBI) held a financial education workshop for Young Investors.
Principal of the college Dr Kiran Bakshi was the chief Guest while Sarvdaman Khajuria certified financial education trainer of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) was the main speaker. Main objective of event was to spread basic financial awareness among students, so that they can make sound financial decision.
Earlier, Principal of the college Dr. Kiran Bakshi while welcoming experts and other Dignitaries said that the right investing decision is which have long-term implications and one should take all the time you need to become informed. Our goal is to settle into a comfortable investing lifestyle that will serve us well for decades and this can happen when we invest rightly.
Speaking on the occasion, Khajuria from SEBI elaborated various means and methods to make right investments. He stressed that right investing decision is one where you understand what you are doing, why you are doing and how you expect it to improve matters. The right decision with regard to investment can dramatically benefit the life and the lives of those whom you love. Coordinator career counseling and placement cell Prof. Parveen Singh presented vote of thanks and coordinated the whole programme.
