| APS celebrates Sports Day | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 15: Army Public School Jammu Cantonment today organized sports day in the school premises in which participating students gave spectacular performance.
Principal of Army Public School (APS) Anu Jandial released balloons for peace and well being of the students and declared the sports meet open. The event commenced with oath taking ceremony by all participant followed by the vivified march past.
Vibrant Taekwando demonstrations were presented by primary students to enthrall audience. Final track and field events like Jalebi Race, Spoon Race, Frog Race, Chicken race, 3 Leg Race, Sack Race, One Leg race, 100 meters Race, Long Jump, 200 meters Race, 400 meters Race, 800 meters Race, Shot put and Relay Race added to excitement and thrill. Programme ended with prize distribution ceremony. Prizes were given to the students for their excellent performance in various events of sports.
Principal congratulated the winners and boosted their morale for their immense potential and laid emphasize on physical activities. She added that such students are grandeur of Army Public School Jammu Cantt. The event concluded with enthralling tuning of National Anthem.
