| Sharik, Dar call on Hakim demand SRTC bus services | | |

A deputation from Handwara led by MLA Langate Mr. Sharif-ud-Din Sharik today called on Minister for Transport Hakim Mohammad Yaseen and demanded plying of daily bus service from Nowgam Handwara to Jammu by J&K State Road Transport Corporation to facilitate the people of the area.
Another deputation led by Chairman J&K Handicrafts Development Corporation and MLA Sopore Haji Abdul Rashid Dar also met the Transport Minister and demanded a daily SRTC bus service from Sopore to Handwara via Chakla Pohroo.
The Minister assured the deputationists that the J&K SRTC authorities would be asked to prepare the feasibility report for plying of SRTC bus service in these areas and take immediate necessary action in this regard.
