More BJP leaders, workers resign

Jammu, Nov 15: Satpal Grover BJP veteran from Jammu city who has been elected to Jammu Municipal Corporation for continuous three times and has also served as District President of Jammu unit of BJP resigned from the primary membership of the BJP alleging the present leadership as defunct and coterie of the burglars and corrupt.
He along with another stalwart and ex Corporator Darshana Devi who was also the founder member of BJP resigned in the retaliation to the present system of working in BJP.
They along with state youth vice president of BJYM Raghunandan Singh (Babloo), who is presently Sarpanch of Janglote also leveled several allegations against Ashok Khajuria ,Nirmal Singh and Shamsher Singh being the fake and pseudo leaders of Jammu and has comprised the integrity of Jammu during the Baba Amarnath agitation.
Ashok Gandhi ex sr. vice president of SC morcha of BJP also resigned from the primary membership of BJP and held responsible the present leadership of Centre as well as state leaders who has ignored the interests of S.C workers.
He alleged that three of BJP M.L.A’s who belong to SC community has been expelled from the party having been charged wrongfully and without any substance.
Among the others who resigned from the primary membership of BJP include Gurbachan Gupta,( sr. leader BJP), Mohan Lal Gupta, (ex distt. Gen Secretary and President Sr.
Citizen Cell, distt. Jammu), Rakesh Sharma, (distt. secretary BJP), Arun Kumar (president Yuva Morcha Ward No. 1), Purshotam Gupta, Pritam Rohmetra , Greesham Grutoo, Anil Balgotra Veena Devi and Varun Gupta (all active workers).
Holding joint press conference all of them criticized the BJP leaders and termed the party a Private Limited Company. They alleged that the present leadership does not have any agenda and direction to lead the Jammuites. They also charged party of being biased and apathetic towards the workers and termed decision of expelling senior party leader Chaman Lal Gupta unfortunate, who toiled the party in the State.
They also appealed to all hardworking BJP Cadre to resign from the party of mischievous coteries and work for the interests of Jammu based organization. They appealed to all the nationalistic forces to rise and unite to give reply to the black sheep having wore saffron turbans.
