Top BJP cadre reviews arrangements for ‘Advani’s Yatra’

Jammu Nov 15: On the eve of Lal Krishan Advani’s “Jan Chetna Yatra”, reaching Jammu, BJP State Prabhari Prof. Jagdish Mukhi arrived here on Tuesday morning to have an on the spot assessment of arrangements made so far for the public rally.
During his meeting the top cadre offered inputs and suggestion based on experience of having traveled with Advaniji during the yatra through several states, including Madhya Pradesh, Orisia and Chattisgarh.
Party sources said immediately after his arrived from New Delhi, Jagdish Mukhi drove straight to the rally venue at Dussehra Ground, Gandhi Nagar, where he was briefed about the arrangements made for thye scheduled rally.
Thereafter, Prof Mukhi, alongwith BJP State President Shamsher Singh Manhas, convened a meeting of senior party leaders and state office bearers at the party headquarters, during which each aspect related to tomorrow’s programme was discussed thereadbare. Expressing satisfaction over the arrangements, Prof Mukhi said that
“Jan Chetna Yatra” of Advaniji has evoked an unprecedented response across the country and succeeded in making the masses, youth in particular, understand the seriousness of the issues of corruption, black-money and price-rise. He also referred to the recently concluded four “Jan Jagran Yatras” undertaken by State unit of the party, which had succeeded in carrying Advaniji’s crusade against corruption to every nook and corner of the state.
Prof Mukhi said that J&K has been rated as second most corrupt state in the country and the party has the credit of having exposed major scams, including Rs. 1000 crore Srinagar Defence Land scam and cash for vote for MLC case resulting in the mysterious death of NC activist.
Shamsher Singh Manhas, while addressing the meeting, said that all the arrangements for the rally are complete. He appealed the public to come out in large numbers to listen to the views of Lal Krishan Advani on unprecedented corruption, blackmoney and price rise. Dr Nirmal Singh, Ashok Khajuria, Dr Jitendra Singh, Jugal Kishore Sharma, Chander Prakash Ganga, Sat Sharma (C.A), Usha Choudhary, Chander Mohan Sharma, Kavinder Gupta, Yudhvir Sethi, Ramesh Arora (Adv.), Dr. Nirmal Kamal, Balbir Ram, Munish Sharma, Rajesh Gupta, Bansi Lal Bharti, Kuldeep Magotra and Sanjay Khanna were prominent among those who attended this meeting.
