| M/s P.V traders duped of Rs 92, 49,520, CB arrests accused from Mumbai | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Nov 15: Crime Branch, Jammu arrested one Rusy Kohli, Managing Director of Haryana based firm- Trans Asia Distribution Ltd, for allegedly duping Rs 92, 49,520 from Jammu based firm run in the name and style of M/S P.V traders.
Spokesperson of Crime Branch said that owner of M/s P.V Traders 14/2, Extension Trikuta Nagar, Jammu lodged a written report with Crime Branch,Jammu alleging there in that the firm deals in business of supplying different defence equipment to Paramilitary Forces in India.
“The firm placed an order for supply of 20 Snow Mobiles along with Rescue Sledges with one Rusy Kohli, Managing Director, Trans Asia Distribution Ltd Mauritius Freeport Development (MFD) Freeport Zone 5, Mer Rouge Port Louis Mauritius 171/13 Sector-17, Pratap Nagar, Haldi Ghati Marg, Near Maharana Pratap Circle, Jaipur -302033, Rajasthan for supply of same to Army, against the payment of Rs. 92, 49,520/- deposited by the firm, he added.
The statement added that no supply was made by the accused Rusy Kohli nor he returned the amount which ultimately caused wrongful loss to the complainant and during the course of enquiry conducted by Crime Branch it was found that the complainant along with his partner received a supply order from the Northern Command for supply of Snow Mobiles and in this connection they met with accused Rusy Kohli and placed order for supply of 20 Snow Mobiles who induced them to deposit the amount in the account of his firm which was accordingly deposited by the complainant.
A against Case FIR No. 13/2011 u/s 409,420 RPC was registered in P/S Crime Branch Jammu and investigation set in to motion.
