INTUC Kistwar held meet | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, November 15: A meeting of Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) District Unit Kishtwar was held under the Chairmanship of its District President Raj Kumar Badyal where a large of workers and its office bearers from every nook and corner of the District attended the meeting. The members present in the meeting urged upon the State and Centre Government to immediately start the work on Hydro Electric Power Projects in the Kishtwar District and absorb local unemployed youth in these HE projects. The members also criticized recent recruitment policy made by the state Government. The members also said that the drinking water pipeline provided by the NHPC Kishtwar to the people of Kishtwar is still in a defunct condition due to non supply of electric power which is to be provided by the DHP Kishtwar. Moreover the members took strong exception of some so called Trade Union Leaders who are using the muscles power for their vested interest and disrupting the functioning of Government Departments in general and education department in particular.
