| Naib Tehsildar Thanamandi arrested for beating cop | | | Rajouri: Naib Tehsildar Thanamandi was arrested by police in Rajouri district on Tuesday evening after he did an assault on a police constable on duty. Police have registered a case in this regard with police station Rajouri and magistrate was still in lock up til the last reports came in . Giving details, sources said, a Naib Tehsildar posted in Thanamandi tehsil of Rajouri district identified as Shahid Iqbaal was arrested by police after he attacked on a police constable when the later objected him for parking his car at a wrong side . SHO, Rajouri Davinder Katoch while talking to this journalist said that one Shaid Iqbaal who is also naib tehsildar posted in Tahnamandi was arrested by police this evening after he made a physical attack ona police constable in full public view on being objected by the later for wrong side car parking
Police have registered a case with police station Rajouri vide FIR NO 598/2011 u/s 332/147 . The magistrate was in police lock up till the last reports were being filed to press. |
