| District level science exhibition commences | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, November 16 : : The two days 27th District level science exhibition organized by District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET), Jammu, commences here today at Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Shastri Nagar.
The Science Exhibition was inaugurated by A C Aima, Joint Director/Principal SIE Jammu.
As many as 127 Science models including 54 from Higher Secondary Schools, 49 from Secondary Schools and 24 from Elementary Schools are being displayed at the Science Exhibition. The main theme of the Science Exhibition is “Science, Society and Environment”.
Aima inspected the science models displayed by the students and appreciated their skill. While speaking on the occasion , he impressed upon the students to develop scientific temper for the progress and prosperity of the country in the present era of science and technology.
Among others Dr Nirupa Rai PO, Ajay Gupta (AO) and Varinder Kumar Sharma, Principal DIET Jammu were also present.
