| 2 bootleggers held with illicit liquor | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 16: Two bootleggers were today arrested by police in Udhampur and Kathua while selling illicit liquor.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided the house of Bishan Dass, son of Tej Ram, at Pangyal in Ramnagar, Udhampur, and arrested him as he was found selling country made liquor illegally.
Over 21 litres of lahan was recovered from him, police sources said.
Ten bottles of Rum were recovered from the possession of Krishan Chand, son of Sewa Ram of Jagly Todachak, Kotepunnu, in Kathua. He too was arrested by police.
Cases in this connection were registered at concerned police stations.
