Vice-Chancellor mute spectator: JVM | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 16: Jammu Vikas Morcha (JVM) condemned that so far the Vice-Chancellor (VC) has been mute spectator and nothing has been done for the welfare of the students, here today. In a press statement JVM president Dr Dheeraj Sharma said that the VC Prof Sahni responsible for turning negligent attitude towards the malfunctioning in the University Campus and giving undue favour to corrupt administrators. He demanded that resignation of Prof Sahni on moral ground for the failure at their respective positions. He also alleged that VC was patronizing nepotism and corruption at the behest corrupt administrators. He further said that the VC owes clarification to the people of Jammu that why campuses have not been developed although means of access of so many years and only Bhaderwah campus is developed while the rest of ten campuses are either not performance or operation from make shift provision. “Appropriately, the interview for the post of Director, Colleges Development Council (CDC) was held lately in which three candidates had been discarded on the basis of exclusion. Unexpectedly, two candidates remained barred but, the third candidate (Meenakshi Kilam) was not only affirmed appropriate but recommended for the post. This is how VC manipulated things for the Dr Kilam” he added. He maintained that JVM support NSF to make people aware of the facts to expose the corrupt VC.
