| NSF holds convention; discusses issues | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 16: The National Secular Forum University Unit (NSFUU) organized a day long convention for activists at University Campus here today.
Large number of activists attended the convention and discussed various issues related to the students.
NSF noticed that lot of problems being faced by the students and nothing has significant has been done so far.
State President NSF Vikas Sharma, Surjit Choudhary District Chairman NSF and Ravi Choudhary and P.P.Singh were present during the convention.
While addressing the Convention, Vikas Sharma said that more and more youth are expected to join the NSF in future.
P.P Singh said that some departments of the university have no facility for the students.
“There is single class room, no room for research scholars, bad shape of toilets besides, library lacks collection of good books," said P.P Singh adding that “the department has dearth of resources as well as teachers thereby marring the academic session badly.
Shafqat Malik Chairman University Unit also addressed the gathering.
Among those who were present on the occasion included Ravi Choudhary, Jatinder Kour, Manpreet Kour, Neeru Jasrotia and Nisha Chib besides others. |
