| Wani hails Hakeem statement | | | Jammu, Jan 8 : Sartaj Ahmed Wani, Senior Leader of Peoples Democratic Front (PDF), Youth Wing has hailed the statement of Chairman PDF and State Transport Minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen for making public the Kashmir-centric parleys of Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru and former Pakistani President General Ayub Khan.
In a statement here, Wani said that many formulae are being circulated with regard to Jammu and Kashmir political scenario and settlement of Kashmir issue without taking care of the aspirations of people and root cause of confrontation. He said that time is ripe for the people to know the parleys that took place between Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru and former Pakistani President General Ayub Khan. He added that during those years much headway had been achieved in relation to the settlement of all issues including Jammu and Kashmir.
Wani hailed the efforts of Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen for his sincere efforts to address the problems of people of the state. |
