| CC bank election | | File papers on your risk: HC | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, November-17:- The High Court today allowed the
petitioners to file nomination papers for election of CC bank at their
own risk and responsibility. The court further clarified that this
order shall not create any right, interest or equity in favour of
petitioners. The order was passed by Justice Mansoor Ahmad Mir.
The petition was filed by Dinesh Gupta and Deepak Gupta challenging
the amendment in the Cooperative Societies Act 1989 and seeking
quashment of communication No RCS/BF/342 dated
November 4, 2011 addressed by the Registrar Cooperative Societies J&K
to Managing Director Citizen Cooperative Bank Limited Jammu, JNF.
