| District level science exhibition concludes in Jammu | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 17: The 27th District Level Science Exhibition organized by District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET), Jammu concluded here at Govt Girls Higher Secondary School, Shashtri Nagar
Jammu today.
Director School Education Jammu, G.A. Qureshi was the chief guest on the occasion in this exhibition organized on the theme “Science Society and Environment” in which 127 models from different schools of District Jammu were displayed.
Science models including 54 from Higher Secondary Schools, 49 from Secondary Schools and 24 from Elementary Schools were displayed at the Science Exhibition.
SRML. Higher Sec. School Jammu stood first at Higher Secondary Level whereas Govt. Girls Higher Sec. School Shashtri Nagar and Govt. Girls Higher Sec. School Mubarak Mandi clinched 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
In Secondary Level, Gov. Girls Higher School City Chowk secured 1st Positon followed by Gov. Girls Higher School Shamachak and Gov. Boys Higher School Janipur with 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
At Elementary Level, Middle School Shikliguran Kullian bagged top honour while Govt. Middle School Rehari and Girls Middle School Narwal had to be contented with second and third place respectively.
Virender Kumar Sharma, Principal, DIET, Jammu presented the annual report of the institution.
Students of Girls High School, Kachi Chhawni, Govt. Girls Higher Sec. School Nawabad, Govt. Girls Higher Sec. School Shastri Nagar and Govt. Girls Higher Sec. School, Bakshi Nagar presented cultural programme on the ocasion.
