PSA students discuss anti-youth policy | | | EARLY TIMES Jammu, Nov 17: Students under the banner of PSA for the release of their detained members held a meeting inside the university campus. The main agenda of the meeting was to extend the support for the new recruitment policy inside the campus. Speaking of the occasion president of Gujjar Bakarwal student's welfare association Talib Hussain said that we should be aware of such organizations who are pro-policy and also aware the students about such hooligans who are disturbing the peace of the university. He said that such student organization are trying their best to derail the student movement against this anti -youth policy. By condemning the scuffle with the NCSU he said that "peaceful organisation and processions" is the fundamental right of every organisation and every student which everyone has got from the constitution of India. Doing so they are not violating any individuals right but also violating the constitution. While addressing the meeting president University wing PSA Manik said that there is a need to aware the student about the bad effects of the policy in the near future because some people are defending the policy and saying that this policy is good for the common man. He said that if it good then why people are opposing it and why not the govt reduce the basic salary to 25% of the basic salary. Vice-president PSA M S Bhatti said that peaceful environment in campus is main agenda of PSA and GBSWA. He also said their organisation whatsoever they are doing is with the full consent of the students and in a democratic way. While concluding the meeting they said that they will expand the movement to the masses outside the university to make it a mass movement. Among them who were present in the meeting were Cathlene, Bharti, Rohit, Yasmine, Azam, Azhar, Imtiyaz, Kiran and others.
