Mufti, Mehbooba express grief over death of party leader in tragic road accident

Jammu, Nov 17: Former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and president of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mehbooba Mufti have condoled the sad demise of prominent party leader Rehmat-ullah-Malik, who along with two of his women family members was killed in a tragic road accident at Assar this morning.
Rehmat-ullah-Malik was general secretary of the trade union wing of the PDP.
In a condolence message, PDP leaders paid their heart felt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the peace of departed souls.
While expressing their grief over party leader’s death, they termed Malik as dedicated party worker, who worked with dedication and sincerity to strengthen the party.
Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti said that untimely tragic death of Rehmat-ullah-Malik is a great loss to the party as well as to the people of erstwhile Doda district.
Senior PDP leader and member of the Legislative Council, Sayeed Asgar Ali has also expressed his grief over tragic death of Rehmat-ullah-Malik. He recalled services of Malik for the party and paid floral tributes to the departed soul.
Meanwhile a condolence meeting was held at PDP office Gandhi Nagar to condole untimely sad demise of Rehmatullaha Malik. A Two mintues silence was observed in the meeting to pay tributes to departed soul and prayed to Almighty to give him eternal peace.
All those presence in the meeting recalled qualities of Malik and observed that his death was a great loss to the party.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Rangil Singh, T S Bajwa, Balbir Singh, Ved Mahajan, Daman Bhasin, Shanti Devi, Falail Singh, Bharat Shah, Rashid Malik, Suram Singh, R K Bali, Rajinder Singh Manhas, Nadeem Khan, Susheela Jamwal, Capt Anil Gour, Choudhary Chuni Lal, Chaman Angral, Sohit Sharma, Balbir Singh, Rashpal Singh Billoria, Vimal Sharma, Daljit Singh Dicky, Dr. Ramzan, Surinder Singh, Davinder Singh, H S Sodhi, Mahinder Pal Singh (Manu) and others prominent workers.
