Ranjit College Of Education organises extension lecture | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 17: Ranjit College of Education, Kunjwani organised an extension lecture programme on psychology with the theme ‘Individual Differences’ for the students in the Sensorium Hall of the college here today. Madhu Singh, principal, MC Khalsa College of Education was the keynote speaker, who delivered the guest lecture which was very informative for the students and teachers as well. She spoke in length on new education policy, adequate equipping, regular and inclusive classes for the students. Earlier, principal of the college, Alka Bakshi welcomed the special guest. While speaking on the occasion, Manmeet Singh, chairman of the college said that the lecture by the special guest has enlightened the students and faculty members on various topics regarding analysing a child’s merits and de-merits and the different methods to sort out the obstacles hindering in the upbringing of a child. He also spoke on the law of individuality and preaching of Guru Nanak Dev ji in this context. Madhu Singh emphasized on the need for the creation of a positive and congenial environment for the students. She also stressed upon the promotion of young talent and their personality development so that they become key agents in spreading the right concept of education. The programme was an endeavour to bring about awareness amongst the teachers and parents about the Child Psychology and the ways to cater to the problems being faced by the peer groups. Vote of thanks was presented by Anuradha Sharma lecturer in information and communication technology and Neeraj Sharma conducted the programme in a befitting manner.
