| Cooperative week celebrations starts | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA , November 17 : : Registrar, Cooperatives Mohammed Abbas Dar, kick started celebrations of cooperative week at Kathua.
Ex - Minister and founder of Nature-Mankind Friendly Global Movement Babu Singh, Ex Chairman MC Kathua Chaggar Singh, Chairman Cooperative Marketing Society Ltd, Kathua Karan Singh, various officers of the cooperatives, District President of Kisaan Movement Hurmat Singh, Panches Sarpanchs, members of cooperative societies were also present during the function.
Speaking on the occasion Ex Minister and founder of Nature-Mankind Friendly Global Movement Babu Singh stressed upon the members of the cooperative societies to work with dedication and zeal to attain the real motive of the cooperatives.
He said the cooperative is a people’s movement and aims at to remove the middleman ship, besides providing essential commodities to the consumers at competitive prices . .
Registrar cooperative J&K Mohamed Abbas Dar asked the people to set up cooperative societies in their respective areas as these will serve their mutual interest.
He also appealed the general public to get registered themselves with cooperative societies so that these societies can develop and flourish day by day, even as he gave an account of the diversification of their business.
