Govt aware of backward pockets’ difficulties: MLC Subash | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT KATHUA, NOV 18:MLC Subash Gupta said that Government was fully aware of the difficulties of people living in backward pockets and inaccessible areas. He said that considerable attention is being paid to address their development need and mitigate problem. Gupta said this after inaugurating lanes and drains work at Changi village executed at a cost of Rs 50,000 under MLC funds in Hiranagar constituency. Responding to the demands, Gupta assured the people that all their genuine demands and developmental needs would be fulfilled in a phased manner. He said providing road connectivity to every nook and corner of the state and ensuring all basic amenities to the people is priority of the state government. He said the UPA Government headed by Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh has been providing liberal funding to the state so that the prestigious projects being executed in the sate completed in a time bound manner. Later, the MLC also interacted with the common masses in village Changi and he was apprised about the problems being faced on account of roads, water scarcity, power, unemployment, health and education.
