| Edu Dept, JU organizes farewell-cum-welcome party | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 18:Continuing the trends the department of education University of Jammu organizes a farewell-cum-introduction party with full of fervour and gaiety.
In this colourful event the students of 3rd, 1st semester of the department displayed their wonder full reflection of their feeling and joy through songs, dances, poetry recitation and small skits. During the whole programme the students & the staff found enjoyed every single items presented beautiful by the department.
One of the main highlights of the programme was Ghazals sung by Rashpal Singh a student of MA 3rd semester who with his gifted voice enthralled the audience. The function was graced by Dean and Head of the Department Prof Lokesh K Verma, Prof Kiran Sumbali, Dr Mubarak Singh and other teaching and non teaching staff. In his blessings to the students, Prof Verma appreciated the efforts of the students who organized the programme. He called upon the outgoing students to continue their link with the department and blessed them for their best placement in different organization. Prof Verma welcomed the new comers of the department & advised them to work hard in different components of the course for their better performance in future.
