| Div Com releases ex-gratia relief under Passenger Welfare fund | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Nov 18:Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon released approximately Rs 6 lakh as ex-gratia relief from the Passenger Welfare fund of which he is the chairman. The other members are IGP Traffic J&K, HK Lohia and RTO Kashmir, Mohammed Anees.
The amount was released in favour of the next of kins (NoKs) of the deceased and the persons who got injured in road accidents at Panzilla top between Zanskar and Kargil on 4th Nov and at Dali Nalla near Gurez on 1st Nov.
The NoKs have been issued Rs. 25,000 per head and Rs 10,000 has been released in favour of the seriously injured and Rs. 5,000 for those who got minor injuries.
