| Blood Donation camp organized at Samba | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, November 18 : The New Young Blood Organization Samba organized Blood Donation Camp in co-ordination with District Red Cross Society in the District Hospital, Samba.
A team of doctors from Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu and the doctors of District Hospital Samba facilitated the conduct of Blood Donation Camp.
The volunteers from different colleges and other walks of the society participated in the camp and thirty volunteers donated the blood.
The camp was inaugurated by Mubarak Singh, District Development Commissioner, Samba who while speaking on the occasion appreciated the role of NGO for organizing such camps in the past as well and impressed upon the youth to come forward for the noble job of blood donation.
He also complimented President of the organization Neelam Singh Sambyal and office bearer of the New Young Blood Organization who have been regularly organizing such camps in the District.
The Chief Medical Officer, Samba Dr. Javed Chib informed that District Hospital has established the facility of storage of blood for meeting the emergent requirement of patients, especially the injured persons.
Among others, Additional Deputy Commissioner, R.C.Sharma, Assistant Commissioner (Rev), B L Sharma, DSWO Babu Ram Tandon and other officers, besides the prominent persons of the District were also present on the occasion.
