| Manjeet Memorial volley ball tourney concludes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Poonch, Nov 18- Four day long volley ball tournament concluded where in shaheed Manjit Singh Memorial volley ball club team Poonch won final match by scoring 25-20 against Surankote volley club team played at Sports Stadium Poonch yesterday.
District Police under the aegis of SSP, Poonch, Ashkoor Ahmed Wani conducted this tournament as per traditions to celebrate death anniversary of Late. Dy. SP. Mangit Singh who sacrificed his life while fighting with militants at Poonch town in 2003.
Harbeet Singh was adjudged as best player of winning team who was provided trophy and posing team was given consolation prizes. On this occasion all players were provided sports kits where as music instrumental kits to two cultural clubs of Poonch known as Sarasvati Sangeet Kala Kendra and Sangeet Sarasvati Vidhlaya Kendra Poonch free of cost.
An impressive function was organized by district police on the occasion where MLA, Poonch, Ajaz Ahmed Jan was the chief guest and DIG Poonch/Rajouri Range, Rajesh Kumar Yadoo was the guest of honour
