GBSWA-PSA jointly stage protest against ‘fresh recruitment policy’ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu Nov 18: Today Gujjar Bakkarwal Students Welfare Association (GBSWA) and Progressive Students Association (PSA) held a symbolic protest against new recruitment policy, inside university campus near fountain. Addressing the students, the GBSWA state president Talib Hussain said that after 17 days long protest the deaf administration is not even considering the demands of the students community. He said that the policy is anti-youth and anti-students and need to be revoked immediately. He said that the policy is a clear cut reflection of implementing the policies of globalisation and privatization in our state. Speaking on the moment Manik University unit president of PSA said that we will try to expand the movement to the general masses. He said that in the coming days the university has its semester examinations and the protest's form, need to be changed. He said that soon PSA and GBSWA will go to villages to aware the people about the cause and also continue the protest in the university. He said that the politicians like MLAs/ Cabinet ministers are getting handsome salaries but they have this policy as a gift for the common man.
